About Us
ABOUT THOUGHT OF ETHICS FORUM
Ethics is a Philosophical term originating from Greek word “ethos” meaning custom or character. It is concerned with describing and prescribing moral requirements and behaviours, which suggests that there are acceptable and unacceptable ways of behaving that serve as a function of religious beliefs, cultural values, ideology, family upbringing practices and own behavioural experience. Ethical behaviour is defined as behaviour which is morally acceptable as “good” and “right” as opposed to “bad” or “wrong” in a given situation. Therefore, we strive for moral development and personal growth in the midst of our dwelts for the future generation. All of this marks moral success only if one was has a proper attitude toward the world, one in which one does not think of oneself as the be-all-and-end-all but rather realizes that we each live in a world created and ruled by God and populated by people, animals and an environment for all of which we have a duty to care.

Sought to create a community by getting the people to make personal contributions to a collective project, youth clubs, the community based organization. To turn a group of individuals into a covenantal nation, we must build communities: building relationships, developing leaders. Recognize the struggles of health worker, caregivers and create new efforts to support them and help them help each other. Find new ways to honour seniors experience by treating them as assets rather than as problems to be fixed; lead a community organizing campaign for changes in long-term care system that would make it easier so chose. “When we decide to be vulnerable with each other to share our real stories and struggled with each other and accept our inter-connectedness, amazing things can happen.” • As organisers and as committed community developers, we strive and challenge ourselves every day to “walk with outreach.” However, because we believe we are part of a potent approach to making chance and because we are dedicated not to just to bringing new vitally to political life, but also to our own ethical sensitive communities, we don’t consider our work to be, at core, only about “justice.” We are wrapped up in the work of leadership and transformation.
GIVE A HAND
Help us raise money for rearing a next generation and passionate and committed South Africans.Men & Women
THE PLAN ADDRESS THESE KEY INTERVENTION AREAS:
- The twin values of presence and perspective reflect young people’s innate wisdom and their need for guidance. By “Presence”, we mean the spiritual disposition and life skill relating to the present moment.
- Thought Of Ethics Forum guide youths by giving them a vocabulary for the natural attention to the present moment. When we use words to express and memorialize the character of a moment, that facilitates sharing it, even as it supports the value of staying present. To make it broader (blessings) are the way of directing our attention to what is currently happening and sanctifying the present moment. The cultural values and religious beliefs in South Africa, blessings express gratitude and connect us to both God and Community, for example Enkosi Ngiyabonga, Dankie, Ke a leboga, Ndo livhuwa Ro livhuwa, Thank you.
- Perspective complements presence; it sees beyond the present moment. Perspective is a specialty of elders because it is developed and enhanced through life experience. Youths need maximum guidance. The first time you have FLU or wait on the tarmac, it is likely to seem like nothing less than “full catastrophe living” remembering this will help us be gentle and empathic with our youths. Thought of Ethics Forum provide youths with the context to see their problems and even their triumphs in perspective.
- Both the community and the individual are precious.
- On a certain level, promoting peoplehood is easy. Youths love community and fellowship. One great youth group, one meaningful summer camp, experience, one inspiring trek Through KZN and Western Cape can make all the difference. We believe we can rear a next generation and passionate and committed South Africans, if we give our youth league doses of community and fellowship, together with significant exposure to our sacred story and a sense that there is a life time of ethics/duty call ahead of them.
THOUGHT OF ETHICS FORUM PERSPECTIVES
Thought of Ethics Forum organization a broad, deep and detailed tradition of social justice and social responsibility, ranging from charity, visiting the sick and saving Human Life. We also participate in school board meetings, state legislative hearings, community outreach and the like.
- Discipleship: the acceptance by a person of another as master, tutor and spiritual guide. The two chief examples of discipleship in the Bible are those of Joshua and Moses (Exodus 33:11). In Thought Of Ethics Forum, in Particular, Discipleship is given the utmost priority and is of supreme importance.
- So much of Thought Of Ethics Forum teachings falls into one of these two categories: Either we are prepping youths for special ceremonial event (through books, songs, arts, and conversations) or we are (finally!) Celebrating the ceremonial. Either we are laying the groundwork for a visit to old people’s home, a milestone at school, visiting the sick, or we are living out those development. Failing to prepare youth can lead to all sort of difficulties, as can preparing them without following through.
- “Preparation” and “Practice” correspond to two Thought of Ethics Forum values: meaning direction, so it comes to signify both preparation and intention: that which directs us to where we are going. Therefore, means “having focus and a sense of meaning”
The Thought of Ethics Forum advocates giving youths “more choice” when it comes to moral practice. However the best way to provide a real choice for youths is to give them both preparation, intention, having focus of a sense of meaning in relation to The Thought of Ethics Forum observance when they are young. Then they will be equipped with the intellectual background and emotional comfort level they need to make decisions about ethics learning and practice as adults.
- Sought to create a community by getting the people to make personal contributions to a collective project, youth clubs, the community based organization. To turn a group of individuals into a covenantal nation, we must build communities: building relationships, developing leaders.
- Recognize the struggles of health worker, caregivers and create new efforts to support them and help them help each other. - Feminism: The Thought of Ethics Forum, movement to obtain equal rights and opportunities for women from a religious point of view.
Girls and Boys: They come first. Civilisations that value the young stay young. Those that invest in the future. It is not what we own that give us a share in eternity, but those to whom we give birth and the effort we make to ensure that they carry our faith and way of life into the next generation.
- Repetitive protocols of behavior infused with meaning by this definition, Biblical Ten Commandments and family gatherings Youths crave consistence and repetition. They need routine to learn and feel safe. Any decent youthhood hence adulthood is filled with countless protocols of behaviour.
- Lifecycle ethics honours individuals, creates community, effects transition and tells our sacred stories.
- Life passages offer opportunities at every stage of development for parents, community leaders and so forth to teach ethics. By teaching them many, complex layers of our sacred story , we help them discover comfort, joy, beauty, meaning, and vibrancy in our Thought of Ethics Forum transition. Addressing everyday concerns of youthhood also conveys a meta-message that is vital for living a purposeful and pious life: there are no trivial passages. Every moment is at least potentially sacred and should be treated as such.
